RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate in the formulation of an annual and monthly production plan for the Concentrator Plant, estimating volumes and grades of concentrates to be produced and the required budget.
  • Supervise the fulfillment of the Production Plans through the generation of daily and monthly Metallurgical Balances that allow to know and control the quality of the production and the variables that affect it.
  • Collect, analyze and synthesize plant process information through statistical control, ensuring its validity and reliability.
  • Generate daily, monthly and annual production reports, in addition to preparing the monthly report for the Plant Management.
  • Comply and enforce compliance with the Operating, Risk Prevention and Physical Safety Standards defined for the area and directly verify that the safety conditions are suitable for the controlled execution of the work, taking corrective measures if necessary.
  • Comply and enforce compliance with the Environmental Management and Quality standards defined for the area.
  • Propose optimizations in all areas of the process by studying process parameters and equipment performance and validate them through the development of metallurgical tests as required.
  • Support the daily operation, providing technical guidance to the Operations Manager and Shift Manager in case of changes in process parameters or process problems.
  • Manage the Metallurgical Laboratory and supervise the quality of extraction, mechanical preparation and analysis of daily samples in all areas of the process, as well as coordinate the execution of metallurgical studies and tests requested to third parties.
  • Ensure the proper operation and conservation of all process control instruments (sample cutters, flowmeters, hydrometers, level sensors, pH meters, scales, etc.), coordinating compliance with preventive maintenance, calibration and certification programs, as appropriate.
  • Direct the dispatch of flotation concentrates, supervising weighing, loading, packaging, sampling and labeling.
