Lundin Gold, through its Ecuadorian subsidiary Aurelian Ecuador S.A., owns the Fruta del Norte Mine (FDN), located in southeastern Ecuador in the Zamora Chinchipe Province.

Fruta del Norte (FDN) is one of the largest and highest grade gold deposits in the world currently in production. The Company has an experienced mine operations team dedicated to advancing FDN responsibly. In the fourth quarter of 2019, Lundin Gold realized first gold production as well as the first export of gold concentrate and doré. In the first quarter of 2020 FDN achieved commercial production. THE ROLE

Lead and coordinate the operation, evolution and support of SAP FI, CO, MM, WM, PM and PS modules, ensuring optimal alignment with business processes. Provide support to key users, drive strategic improvements and manage functional projects that optimize the use of SAP in the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate the functional requirements of SAP FI, CO, MM, WM, PM and PS modules.
• Act as liaison between business areas, key users and technical team.
• Manage and prioritize enhancement requests, incidents and new developments.
• Oversee functional configuration (customizing) and document processes and changes.
• Validate functional specifications (FD) and coordinate functional testing (UT/UAT).
• Train end users and elaborate functional manuals.
• Participate in SAP implementation, upgrade or migration projects.
• Apply good management practices in change processes.
• Coordinate the planning and execution of scheduled and corrective system maintenance.
• Manage the relationship with external consultants and SAP service providers.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or careers related to the position.
• Minimum 10 years in SAP functional roles, with participation in projects and support in the mentioned modules.
• Previous experience as a Functional Consultant, Senior Key User or SAP Process Coordinator.
• Leadership in functional teams and projects
• Functional domain of SAP FI, CO, MM, WM, PM and PS.
• Experience in functional configuration (customizing) and validation of developments.
• Use of ticket and documentation management tools (SAP Solution Manager, Jira, ServiceNow).
